Infant Program
6 weeks to 18 months
Infant Room Happenings
Our infants receive nurturing care in a loving environment. Infants need to feel safe in their environment and secure with the adults in their life. They want to be close to people and love seeing familiar faces. Our teachers keep a schedule full of care giving, learning and discovery that will encourage cognitive awareness, sensory stimulation, communication skills, social and emotional development and fine motor development. Activities in the infant room include:
Floor activities such as tummy time, rolling over and crawling
Exploring different textured materials
Arts and crafts
Reading time
Music and rhythm
Feeding time
Quiet and sleep time
Your infant’s safety is our top priority. All toys are age appropriate and sanitized. Sleeping infants are closely monitored.

Toddler Room Happenings
Toddlers are full of energy, play, and exploration. We provide an age appropriate environment where toddlers can safely discover and explore. Teachers develop activities that focus on cognition, language and literacy development, social-emotional skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Toddlers are sensitive and establish a strong bond with our teachers. They have long periods of play and are not always willing to share. We develop activities where they learn to share and respect others. Our teachers model good manners by saying “please” and “thank you” and encourage your child to do the same in return. We work on self help skills of hand washing, eating, picking up toys and working closely with parents on potty training. Activities in the toddler room include:
Story time
Running, jumping, rolling, catching and dancing
Arts and crafts
Music
Building, stacking, sorting and counting

Our classroom environment instills and encourages a love for learning. In addition, our before or after school program, children have different ways they would like to spend their time. Some children like a brief time to relax and have quiet time, others may want to finish homework, while others are ready to interact with friends and get rid of pent up energy! We accommodate all of these needs.
